Ok, this is a VERY late notice for the Claremont Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire!!!

I will be space #312 on Second St, between Indian Hill Blvd and Yale Ave.
From 9am to 5pm, Saturday the 24th.

Stop by and say HI!

As soon as I take better pictures of my items I will be posting them.

The newest items that I've been working on are finally larger than my usual 10 inch creations. I'm making bigger platters, bowls, and mini sculptures that have a nice organic feel to them. After this show I hope to post some of them, unless...hopefully they ALL sale this weekend!

Well that's my news, hopefully I'll be more consistent in the near future.

The Beginning

Today I am beginning a new adventure... blogging. I've never done one, never read one (until very recently), and I'm still learning about them so please bare with me.

Let me introduce my blog:

Navarro Creations
Handmade gifts of distinction.
American Woman-Made

This blog is to help introduce a new audience to all of my creations and well as to introduce you to other artists, crafters and local businesses I meet along my way through festivals, boutiques and of course the internet highway.

I work with all types of mediums from pencils...paints...glass. Currently my work is mainly with glass. I've been working with glass for 5 years now. From stained glass, lampworking, and fusing. Only dabbling in glass blowing.

My glass fusing:
Each piece has been handcrafted by myself, in my home studio in Southern California. I handle every piece from the sheets of glass through a multitude of stages including multiple firings, grinding and shaping, fire polishing and strengthening, to create a beautiful American Woman-made piece of work. Every piece is a true labor of love and due to the handcrafted nature every piece is unique, no two pieces are exactly alike and nothing is mass produced!

I hope you enjoy being introduced to my work and tell a friend!

I know you can be on the internet for hours at a time given all the wealth of information you can find so I want to thank you for spending time with me!
